What is Polished App?
Polished is built for users to find out the brand, color, and type of the product. The app allows users to find the products available at the nearest store or an online platform. Users can save the post of the particular Mani, users are allowed to search the mani and product, and find out where to buy it.
Type of Challenge We Face
Firstly, the page control was not supported in the system default for the onboarding screen. Additionally, when creating a post and selecting a new brand and color, the data was not able to display properly. Furthermore, while saved manis were successfully saved through the API, they were not displaying on-screen and the count of manis and products was also displaying improperly.
Type of Solutions We Provided
We addressed the page control issue by utilizing the Advanced Page Control library. In order to resolve the slow internet issue when creating a post and selecting a new brand and color, we implemented an alert to pop up and notify users of any errors. For the problem of saved manis and products not displaying properly, our backend developers utilized technical logic to develop a solution.
